The WIP Lead must ensure participation in Operational Readiness Assessment (ORA) to gauge the comfort level and
readiness of Service Delivery Teams in taking over the WIP and planned projects before and after go-live. This
includes the take-on of projects as ‘projects’ or the acceptance of the output from the projects as per the service
impact assessments.
Prepare and input into the overall Operational Readiness Assessment Log For In-Scope Projects/acceptance plan.
Review activities within this stream and ensure that any potential issues and concerns have been communicated to the
Transition Lead and other stakeholders as appropriate.
The WIP Lead along with the Delivery Manager and Engagement Manager (Transition) must participate in the
operational readiness assessment and share the observations with all relevant stakeholders. If there are any concerns
observed in accomplishing the objectives of WIP and planned projects, a mitigation plan must be prepared. The WIP
Lead must attend the regular ORA meetings and record all the key observations and action items based on the
assessment. The Service Engagement Risk Log and Service Engagement Issue Log must be updated for the latest status
of WIP and planned projects including ownership and the Responsibility Matrix For In-Scope Projects revisited, if
any change in the responsibilities.
The output of this task ensures that the WIP (WIP) stream is “ready” for live cut over.It is recommended to obtain a
formal sign-off on the completion of ORA from the relevant stakeholders as per the agreement.
